"If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader."
-John Quincy Adams
"Girls Flow Free was founded by myself drawing inspiration from my background. Growing up in Ghana I witnessed first-hand the taboo, fear, and stigma around menstruation. As an adolescent, I recall how young girls like myself had little or no knowledge of menstruation. The financial struggles and how difficult it was to access safe menstrual products. This was worse for girls living in deprived regions.
In this 21st Century, it is unacceptable that the situation hasn't changed for girls and women globally.
I am motivated and driven each day to make menstruation a positive experience for girls and women".
